Making a bucket list?
I was in the Cleveland area this week (crazy traffic). I knew I was near one of the great lakes when I was planning the route at least according to Google Maps. However, I was so focused on my book events, I didn't take the time to get to a viewing point where I could see the lake and maybe even touch it. This is the second time I've missed out seeing one of the big tourist stops. I've been 30 miles away from Niagara Falls and 25 miles away from the Grand Canyon. (If you driv

My writing life
I'm on a no-travel, no-event month. July usually has a few trips in there for me and there's a few conferences I wanted to attend, but I decided to take a Lynn month. We spent the 4th with friends and family and a few strays down at the cabin. Quinn and Dexter got to play in the water at the spillway for the dam. We had fireworks. And a few adult beverages. Sconed to Death - Release week
Okay, hold onto your hats. Sconed to Death releases on Tuesday which means there's a lot going on in Lynn's world. I hope you come and join me either in person or virtually. The heavy, heavy traffic made the rain manageable since I didn't get up to the speed limit until the rain had slowed and I was closer to home. This year I'm going to make me a summer reading list. Just like the ones I had between school years. My plan is to read out of my own library. If I love the book, I can keep it. If not? It goes in the box to go to Goodwill

Bits and Pieces
I'm getting ready for a busy weekend. Well, actually, my life is double booked all the way through mid June. I'm getting ready for a big push for the upcoming release of SCONED TO DEATH. Saturday I'll be chatting with the murder mystery crew up in Chicago - Sulzer Public Library, 4455 N. Lincoln Avenue, Chicago. It's open to the public and books will be available for purchase and signing afterward. You can find out more here...http://www.sincchicago.com/events.html Stops in M
